January 22nd is the day that we celebrate St. Vincent who was a Deacon and Martyr... died 304. Martyrs are heroic examples of what God's power can do. It is humanly impossible, we realize, for someone to go through tortures such as Vincent had and remain faithful. But it is equally true that by human power alone no one can remain faithful even without torture or suffering. God does not come to our rescue at isolated, "special" moments. god is supporting the super cruisers as well as children's toy boats.
In times like today those super cruisers are charting new courses... society norms are challenging our faith built moral systems... we must chart a new course and have the courage to seek inside of our heart and soul and follow our faith, our ten commandments and our belief that life is precious and family is the heart of our social structure... protect it now... live your faith out loud NOW!
